I'm so glad you're here! If you could see my face, you'd see a big smile :) Thank you for being here.
Many years ago I started a blog (anyone remember blogpost.com?), I kept my blog running for about 6 years and at some point, I stopped, and hid my blogs from the rest of the world! (Quite dramatic). I've always imagined that some day I'd print-out every post and create a book from it- for our children to read about my thoughts from my younger years.
I'm happy you're here because this blog is not a continuation of what I started and stopped years ago, but instead it's a beautiful beginning.
If you read my ABOUT page, you already know I'm a believer, which means I am a follower or disciple of Jesus Christ and that shapes everything that I do. Being a believer is my strongest and pretty much the only anchor I've got holding me up.
I don't have much to say here other than I'm happy to see you and I'm sure you and I will have a beautiful time walking this journey together and I'd love to hear from you about how you're embarking on your journey whether it be a new beginning or the same path.
One thing I must say before I let you go is that I launched Abba & Oba this year, that is, 2023. Before launching, I knew exactly the who and why behind what this business would be all about. I knew that I wanted to bless humanity with the works of my hands, and that meant that the entire process of creating my designs on fabric would be sustainable - the dyes, the natural fibre, the printing process, water wastage, recyclable packaging, etc. These all make up who Abba & Oba is, a blessing; this stands true today and I believe always will.
I'm still on this journey to ensure that we're seeking out new technologies that would foster our goals of producing a clean and sustainable product. And so I hope with that said, you'll have a better understanding of our stance as a company and we hope to see you more often. Till my next blog...
